This service is an alternate standard for SDSL based on a Single pair High bit-rate DSL or G.SHDSL (G.991.2). This product offers a higher quality of service than ADSL because it takes priority during times of network congestion, has higher CIR's (committed information rate), lower latency and receives priority repair over ADSL and standard SDSL.
This product was developed to replace many of the older digital subscriber lines (DSL) technologies and transport options such as HDSL, SDSL, IDSL, T1 and ISDN that can be too slow and too expensive. This is an attractive tool for non-profit businesses, small businesses, remote office/branch office and corporate businesses that require high speed dedicated internet connectivity, remote access to corporate LANs and other tele-working applications such as security video cameras or video conferencing.

EQUIPMENT: Zyxel Prestige 782R = $199 + tax
INSTALLATION: $150. The telco will install the data loop to the NID, perform an operational test and tag the circuit at the NID. The customer is responsible for connecting a spare wire pair from the loop at the NID to the inside RJ11 jack. As mentioned earlier, the activation does not include a visit to your location to handle any inside wiring or installation. L A Bridge can provide a referral to a reliable consultant for wiring, unless you have your own consultant.
The consultant we use is not our employee and his charges would be separate. The rate is $125 for the first hour and $75 each additional hour. If "house" cabling can be used, the installation can usually be completed in an hour. If cabling needs to be run it may take longer and, unless the customer provides their own Cat5, additional charges will be assessed to cover the cost of any new cabling.
NOTE: billing begins once the circuit is active.

One year term required (after installation, $250 early cancellation liability charge applies).
